Anger is a normal, healthy and necessary emotion to feel and express. However, issues with anger can arise when we don’t understand how to express it within appropriate boundaries, or when the deeper cause of our anger has not yet been addressed.
Based on James Hawes (2020), here is an outline of 5 types of anger that we can all experience: Aggressive, Passive, Passive-Aggressive, Rage, and Assertiveness.
